Goodbye, 2008 and Welcome 2009!

How Time Flies!

It's already 30 Dec 2008. In another 24 hours, it's going to be year 2009 already. I don't know where have the time went to? It's passing through me in a blink of an eye.

What have I accomplished this year? Sigh!!! I don't think I have done much. It had been a rather slow year for me. However, I did learn a few things or two more about myself. Would that consider as a self-accomplishment? I guess....

Short re-cap of year 2008!

1. Went on 3 trips - Taiwan in April, Bali in November and Borneo Island road trip in December. ** Taiwan was beautiful and I am looking forward to going back there again. ** Bali was over-rated. I didn't enjoy it that much. ** Borneo Island Road trip was tiring because we were rushing abit but, I get to see Mount K and visited Niah Cave. The highlights of the trip. =)


2. Revamped my old blog and moved it here. New design, new thoughts, new me and new blog.


3. Moved out from the apartment [our1st home together] that me and Alven had put so much effort into. The apartment now has been rented out.


4. Looking forward to a new life in New Zealand.


5. Most importantly, I finally understood myself more and know clearer of what I want and am seeking for.

My Wishes for 2009! (**No more resolution! I never keep my resolutions... =P)


1. Personally, I hope that I would enjoy every minutes and every seconds while doing my studies in New Zealand.


2. Hope to do a student exchange programme.


3. Make more money and fulfill my Round-The-World Trip dream.


4. Get PR in New Zealand.


5. Alven coming over for our 1st Winter together.


6. And, of coz...my parents health and happiness.


7. Going back to my ideal weight =)


8. Lastly, our 2010/2011 goals is all coming true one by one!

Well, I guess that's about it for 2008. And, I am looking forward to 2009.

Friends that meant the whole world to me!!

Special friends comes and goes in your life. But, the thing is how many of us are fortunate enough to have met even one?

I know I am among the fortunate one to have met a few of these very very special friends.

Now, the idea of leaving Malaysia is finally sinking in. Just went out to a special dinner with a few of my good friends. And, going to this dinner tonight make me feel so lucky to have them in my life. Crazy bunch of friends and always caring. And, you know for sure that they are for real. Their each body language, the way they talk, they show you how sincere they are. And, seriously, it's not easy anymore to find these bunch of friends.

So, I thank you all again for making this night for me. I will always remember it and thank you for your lovely gifts. I will also remember you all, even when I'm in the toilet doing my business.....**wink!!**
